Dear Grant,

Ok now. Just breathe. Today is a big day. The biggest day of your life. You deserve nothing but the best.

You have been waiting for this moment since you were a little boy with a bouncy bowl cut.

You have been waiting for this moment since you sat on the couch moaning to me how the latest romance failed.

Grant, you are an amazing guy. If anyone deserved to be married, it is you.

Has it soaked in yet?

Man, you've grown up a lot, but you will always be my big baby brother.

Remember when we would have Barney vs. Pooh Bear wars? (You know you were always team Pooh Bear)

Remember when you secretly shaved your head, and everyone thought you had a serious disease?

Remember when we would build forts, and play roller hockey, baseball, and flashlight tag together?

Remember when you would trap me on the stairs with a laundry basket and let a loud one rip?

You have definitely grown up. We both have.

I know I'm not an expert in marriage, ( I've only been married a couple of years,) I'll still give you a piece of advice.

Whenever your marriage doesn't feel as "sparkly" as you want it to, just roll up your sleeves and serve each other.

That's all I have.

Enjoy your big day. Your eternal companion is an amazing woman and I'm excited for your new life together.

Love,

Krysta

'Tis the season to be happy. I love how Christmas time is magical. Friends, family, food - What's not to love? However the older I get, the more I love the simplicity of Christmas. In essence, it is a time meant to focus on the birth of the Savior. I love that people are a little nicer, a little less selfish, a little more forgiving. That really is the true spirit of Christmas. L-O-V-E.

"There is no better time than now, this very Christmas season, for all of us to rededicate ourselves to the principles taught by Jesus the Christ. It is the time to love the Lord our God with all our heart — and our neighbors as ourselves. It is well to remember that he who gives money gives much, he who gives time gives more, but he who gives of himself gives all. Let this be a description of our Christmas gifts."  - Thomas S. Monson

Most people wouldn't try to hike up a precarious rock formation 48 hours after being on DayQuil. However, not wanting to be left out of the fun, that is exactly what I did. I may have felt slightly like an asthmatic, but the views were spectacular. This was by far one of the best hikes I have been on. Not only do I get bragging rights for hanging on to chains for dear life (literally), but I was able to view Zions from a bird's eye view. Or, should I say, an angel's eye view.

All of these photos are straight out of my camera (aka non-edited). More edited photos to come soon.
