St. George is a happy place for Calvin.
The desert is not like the tropics, but it is most definitely beautiful in its own way.
This also happens to be the last family vacation before Christian goes to Russia to serve an LDS mission.
We will miss him.













                 

Someone broke his leg and had to be carried out by a rescue team. I'm glad it wasn't anyone from our group.

At the time, it seemed like a good idea. We were going to go crawdad fishing, and enjoy a weekend of camping. However, two factors made it a little interesting.
There were no crawdads to fish. I also foolishly thought I could sleep on a riverbed without a sleeping pad. Bad idea.
In Hawaii it is ok, but when there is still snow on the ground it is a very bad idea. I have never been so cold in my life! Still, it was good.
It builds character, or something like that.




                       

At last! Graduation day is here! I have dreamed about this day for years but never fully imagined what it would feel like to be wearing my cap and gown and accepting my diploma. It feels like mix of nervousness, and excitement. Mostly I feel calm though. My family has flown out to see this momentous occasion. I am so grateful for them. It sounds cliche, but I wouldn't be walking without the help of my biggest cheerleaders- my parents. They have supported me in every way. They didn't give up when I didn't even believe in myself at times. So thank you.
