Moab

Because our lease ended May 1st, and Calvin's internship didn't start until May 11th, we planned a little camping trip. I had never seen Moab before, and instantly fell in love with the place. While we were there we explored the infamous red rock country. In just a few days we were able to go mountain biking, hiking, and lit plenty of bonfires. We also went swimming in the Colorado River, found some hidden waterfalls, and went to a straw bale house worksite. The only bad part was when Calvin got an infection in his foot. I had to boil water in our cast iron pan over the fire and then soak his foot in a metal kitchen mixing bowl with some Epson salts and tea tree oil. wouldn't recommend it, but it worked.

Overall, I would say it was a success.
