But I wouldn't even tell him the tiniest detail.
I left him in the dark.

On Friday I picked him up at work and told him to get in the car. 

He fell asleep, so when I pulled into the Bountiful airport he was truly surprised. 

That's not easy to do when your 26.
His face was priceless.

I sat in the back of a fifty-year old plane, while Calvin was getting Flying Lessons 101.
He even took off by himself the first time.
Not bad.

It was amazing to see the views while Calvin was flying the plane, until he pulled the throttle out so he could feel what it was like for the plane to just coast on the wind currents. It took me ten seconds before my face turned green and I was hurling birthday cake into my jacket.
Luckily, there was a barf bag on board.

Other than that, I would say it was a success.
